An Accra High Court has issued a directive for Evangelist Mama Pat, formerly known as Nana Agradaa, to be brought from Nsawam Prison to appear in person for the final ruling in a longstanding cybercrime case filed by Prophet Emmanuel Appiah Enim, widely known as Osofo Appiah Biblical.

The case stems from a 2021 public feud between the controversial televangelist and Prophet Enim, which escalated beyond verbal exchanges on social media.

According to court documents, Nana Agradaa is alleged to have aired private, explicit images of the prophet—reportedly showing him in a compromising position with a married woman—during a live broadcast on her former TV station, Thunder TV (now rebranded as Today’s TV).

These actions led to her arrest and subsequent charges under Section 67(1) of the Cybersecurity Act (Act 1038) in 2022 for the non-consensual distribution of intimate images. The case has since expanded to include allegations of assault by individuals reportedly linked to her former spiritual camp.

In July 2024, Agradaa faced additional charges after prosecutors presented new evidence suggesting that she not only televised the explicit content but also used the images on the labeling of a herbal bitters product, which she allegedly promoted during church services.

Her legal team appeared in court this week for further proceedings. The case has now been adjourned to July 30, 2025, with the court ordering that Agradaa be present for the ruling.

This development adds to Agradaa’s growing legal troubles, following her recent 15-year prison sentence for defrauding followers through false spiritual promises. The outcome of this case could deepen her legal woes, with possible implications for her media ventures and religious operations.
