Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is reportedly a target for Crystal Palace as the London club considers bolstering their attacking options.

The 25-year-old English-Ghanaian forward could potentially replace Jordan Ayew, who recently signed with Leicester City.

If the deal materializes, Nketiah would be making a move across London to join Palace.

Nketiah was close to joining Nottingham Forest last week after agreeing to personal terms. However, the transfer fell through due to a breakdown in negotiations between the two clubs.

The proposed deal was valued at up to £30 million but is now off the table, leaving Nketiah in search of a new destination.

Earlier this summer, Nketiah was also linked with a move to France, where Marseille showed interest.

However, they have since opted to sign striker Elye Wahi from Lens, further complicating Nketiah's transfer prospects.

The Arsenal forward is keen to secure more regular playing time, having struggled to cement a spot in the starting XI at the Emirates Stadium.

Nketiah, who joined Arsenal in 2015 from Chelsea's youth system, signed a contract extension in 2022 that keeps him at the club until June 2027.

Throughout his career with Arsenal, Nketiah has scored 38 goals, with six of those coming in 37 appearances during the 2023-24 season under Mikel Arteta.

His move to Crystal Palace could offer him the regular game time he seeks and a fresh start in the Premier League.
