Exclusive: Ex Phobian Richard Akrofi training with Liberty Professionals

Former Hearts of Oak defender Richard Akrofi is currently training with Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, Ghanaguardian can Confirm.
The experienced rare-guard has been without a club since leaving the Phobians a couple of years ago over contractual misunderstanding.
But in his quest to return to the Ghanaian top flight scenes, Akrofi has been training with Hearts of Oak's regional rivals Liberty Professionals with the aim of securing a deal.
It's is however unclear whether or not the Scientific soccer Lads will offer him a deal although there is an obvious demand for centre backs at the club currently.
Liberty Professionals registered only three central defenders for the 2019-20 campaign which forces the club to deploy central midfielder Michael Sefa in certain games.
The Dansoman based side are currently enjoying a good start to the season and have lost just two of their opening eight games of the season.
