Ga Dangme spiritual leader summons Abusua panin Tupac over Daddy Lumba burial site
11th March 2026
A delegation from the palace of Nuumo Borkete Laweh Tsuru, the Spiritual Overlord of the GaDangme people and Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, has visited the East Legon residence of highlife legend Daddy Lumba to deliver a formal summons to the family head, Kofi Owusu, popularly known as Abusuapanin Tupac.
The summons is in connection with claims made by George Lutterodt, widely known as Counsellor Lutterodt, regarding the alleged burial location of the late musician.
According to information from the palace, Abusuapanin Tupac has been directed to appear before the traditional authority at the Nungua Palace in Nungua on Thursday, March 13, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
The meeting is expected to provide clarification and address public concerns surrounding reports that the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu — known professionally as Daddy Lumba — was buried at a private residence in East Legon.
The reports have stirred sentiments among sections of the GaDangme community, prompting the traditional leadership to seek an explanation regarding the circumstances surrounding the alleged burial.
The palace delegation delivered the summons directly to the residence as part of efforts to engage the family and address the growing public discussion on the matter.
