Ghana female star Ernestina Abambila wins Norrbotten Cup with Assi IF

Former Black Princesses and Black Maidens midfielder Ernestina Abambila has won her first trophy with Swedish second side Assi IF.
The 20 year old helped the risoground based-club to beat Infjardens 2:0 in the finals of the Norrbotten Cup on Tuesday.
Abambila joins the Swedish Division 2 side in May from Greek side Aris Thessaloniki.
She featured for Ghana at the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup hosted by Costa Rica and also played at the 2016 and 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Canada and France respectively.
