Cypriot giants APOEL Nicosia have finalized an agreement to sign the highly-talented young midfielder Charles Yaw Appiah from Cheetah FC.

The deal, completed on Sunday, is expected to see the 18-year-old agree to personal terms within the next 48 hours to seal the transfer.

Appiah caught the attention of APOEL scouts during his European tour last year, impressing with his exceptional dribbling skills and dynamic play.

Often compared to the legendary Lionel Messi, Appiah is renowned for his ability to maintain close control of the ball and change direction with explosive speed, making him one of the most exciting young talents in his generation.

With this move, Yaw Appiah joins the ranks of notable players produced by Cheetah FC, including Christian Atsu, Emmanuel Toku, and Alhassan Wakaso.
