Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori is set to begin a new chapter in his career after signing with South African Premier Soccer League side AmaZulu Football Club.

Ofori, who spent the last four years at Orlando Pirates, announced his departure from the club and expressed his excitement about this new journey.

“The past couple of years have been years of grace and power. I couldn’t have been happier, more robust, focused, and motivated than in a place I’ve called home.

Being part of Orlando Pirates brought new challenges, joy, huddles, and energy. The time has now come for me to open a new chapter in my career,” Ofori shared.

In an emotional Instagram post, the experienced shot-stopper expressed his gratitude to everyone at Orlando Pirates, emphasizing the fond memories he holds from his time at the club.

He thanked the staff, technical team, medical staff, board members, and his teammates for creating a supportive environment.

“I want to thank the entire Orlando Pirates family. It’s been a fantastic, action-packed four years of my journey,” Ofori wrote, underscoring his appreciation for the club and its role in his development.
