Ghanaian potent winger, Ibrahim Osman is set to join French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The former Right to Dream Academy graduate is expected to join AJ Auxerre on a season-long loan with an option to buy clause at the end of the season. Osman will sign for the French out from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, having joined the club last summer from FC Nordsjaelland.
Right from his time with the Seagulls last summer, he was immediately loaned out to Dutch Eridivisie side, Feyenoord Rotterdam, where he made 32 appearances across all competitions for the side and notching four goals during that period.
The 20 year old also amassed three assists to his name during his stint with “The Club of the People”
The Ghanaian youngster will be in line to becoming the third Ghanaian international at the French side next season, with Black Stars’ defender, Gideon Mensah and midfielder Elisha Owusu already plying their trade with the club.
He made 22 appearances in the Dutch Eridivisie for Feyenoord Rotterdam and seven appearances in the UEFA Champions League, as well as three in the Dutch Cup.
Osman returned to Brighton with hopes of staying, but he is now set for another loan spell away from England with Auxerre being his next abode.
The former Right To Dream Academy attacker made his Black Stars debut on March 22 2024 in an international friendly against West African rivals Nigeria and has since gone on to make two appearances after a host of call ups for tournament qualifiers and main events.
