Everton manager David Moyes has spoken warmly about his time coaching Mohammed Kudus, describing the Ghanaian international as a “brilliant player” and Tottenham Hotspur’s standout signing of the summer.

Moyes, who managed Kudus during his breakout season at West Ham three years ago, praised the forward’s versatility, physicality, and technical flair, noting that he always believed Kudus would excel at the top level.

“He has so many attributes to his game. He is a great boy to work with. I hugely enjoyed managing him,” Moyes said ahead of Everton’s 3–0 defeat to Spurs.

Kudus had his first season in the English Premier League under the guidance of David Moyes in the 2023/24 campaign where he broke out greatly with eight (8) goals and six (6) assists under David Moyes.

Now under Thomas Frank’s guidance, Kudus has become a creative force in North London, leading the Premier League assist charts with four (4) and showcasing his ability to play inside, outside, or across the front line.

“He has great balance, can’t be knocked off the ball… he can play several positions,” Moyes added.
