Howard County Police seek public help to locate missing Ghanaian man Fred Boakye Adjei

The Howard County Police Department in the United States is urgently seeking the public's assistance to locate Fred Boakye Adjei, a 42-year-old Ghanaian man who has been reported missing under concerning circumstances.

Adjei was last seen around 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, near the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, located on the 5700 block of Cedar Lane in Columbia, Maryland.

He resides in Laurel, but authorities say he has no access to a vehicle, phone, or money, raising significant concern for his well-being.

Police are especially worried due to Adjei’s existing health conditions, which could put him at greater risk.

He is described as:


  • Black male

  • 6 feet 3 inches tall

  • Weighing approximately 195 pounds

  • Last seen wearing a teal jacket, black boxers, and yellow socks

The public is urged to stay alert, and anyone who sees Fred Boakye Adjei or has information about his whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
