Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo says working closely with teammate Erling Haaland is rapidly improving his game as the Premier League season enters its final phase.

The Ghana international, who joined City from AFC Bournemouth in the January transfer window, has made an immediate impact at the Etihad Stadium. He has scored eight goals and provided three assists in all competitions since his arrival.

Speaking on the All Out Football podcast, the 26-year-old credited Haaland’s influence as key to his early success.

“He’s amazing… a top goalscorer. I learn a lot from him, movement, finishing, I’m adding it to my game,” Semenyo said.

Haaland, who has established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific strikers, has been central to City’s attacking dominance in recent seasons. Semenyo’s adaptation alongside him has added another dimension to manager Pep Guardiola’s forward options.

Semenyo has already collected his first trophy with the club, featuring in the side that beat Arsenal to win the Carabao Cup this year.

City now turn their attention back to the league, with a trip to Burnley next on the schedule. A win at Turf Moor would take Guardiola’s side to the top of the Premier League table on 70 points, intensifying the title race.

For Semenyo, the focus remains on continued growth, with one of the world’s best strikers setting the standard beside him.
