'If you're a man go ahead with my brother's funeral' - Ernestina Fosu warns Abusuapanin

Tensions are mounting within the family of late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba as his sister, Ernestina Fosu, fiercely opposes plans to proceed with his funeral without clarity on the cause of death.
Following a case management hearing on October 31, 2025, Ernestina issued a stern warning to the family head, Kofi Owusu, cautioning him against secretly organizing the burial scheduled for December 6, 2025.
In a viral video, an emotional Ernestina accused her uncle of disrespecting the siblings and attempting to “bury my brother like a dog” without transparency. She vowed to resist any such move until the family is fully informed about what led to the musician’s passing.
“If he says he is a man, he should go ahead and bury him on December 6, 2025. I’m invoking Otumfuo’s vow on this matter,” she declared passionately.
The dispute has drawn widespread public concern, further deepening the mystery surrounding the death and pending funeral of Daddy Lumba, who died on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra after a short illness.
