Ifu Ennada shares emotional testimony of surviving amnesia and spiritual battle

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Ifu Ennada has opened up about her harrowing journey through amnesia, near-death experiences, and spiritual warfare that nearly cost her life.

In a moving Instagram post, the former Big Brother Naija star revealed that she had been struggling with severe physical, mental, and spiritual challenges for over a year and a half — a period she described as the most difficult phase of her life.

The most terrifying moment, she said, occurred on July 23, her birthday, when she woke up unable to remember her identity. “It felt like my past had been completely erased. Even when I was shown photos and videos of loved ones, I couldn’t recognize them. It was as though I had been placed on a strange planet with no past, no purpose, and no identity,” she wrote.

Despite the confusion, Ifu shared that she never lost her faith. She recalled remembering only the Holy Spirit and her name “Faith,” a moment she connected to the biblical verse Hebrews 11:1 about the assurance of things hoped for.

She credited her miraculous recovery to divine intervention, consistent prayers, and medical care, acknowledging her mother’s unwavering faith and support. “My mother became my anchor; her prayers carried me when my strength failed,” she added.

Ifu Ennada’s testimony has since drawn emotional reactions from fans and colleagues, many commending her courage, faith, and openness in sharing her story of survival and restoration.
