Genoa striker Kelvin Yeboah says that he will support the Black Stars of Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in  Qatar.

The young striker turned down a call up to play for the Black Stars of Ghana last year as he preferred playing for the Italian U-21 side claiming at the time that he feels more Italian than Ghanaian.

Italy failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and Yeboah nephew of the legendary Tony Yeboah is still eligible to play for the Black Stars.

Whiles Yeboah's 'beloved' Italy failed to make it to the 2022 FIFA World Cup Ghana qualified at the expense of Nigeria.

Speaking in an interview with goal.com, Yeboah whose Genoa side suffered relegation says that his International future is still open despite snubbing Ghana for Italy.

"I grew up in Italy, so it's part of me," he told GOAL, "but so is Ghana.

"Italy and Ghana are both my country, I suppose, and nobody knows what will happen in the future."

He has been capped 4 times by the Italy U-21 team but can still play for the Black Stars.
