I'm proud of my players despite defeat - Dwarfs coach

Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, Ernest Thompson says he is proud of his players despite suffering defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Kotoko right full back Christopher Nettey the only goal of the game on Wednesday in the 71st minute to send the porcupine warriors third on the league log.

Before the match, the Dwarfs coach was loud on the airwaves saying he will defeat Asante Kotoko and nullify al their key players but that did not happen.

Kotoko dominated the game for large spells and had themselves to blame that they did not win by a wider margin by the solitary goal.

“Before the game I said that we were going to neutralize some of their players and you can see that Kwame Poku was a passenger in the game.

“I am very proud of my boys. They performed well but we lost at the end. But I am happy with the performance” he added.
