Jennifer Cudjoe joins Brooklyn FC ahead of 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season

Ghana international Jennifer Cudjoe has signed for Brooklyn Football Club ahead of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season, marking a new chapter in her impressive career.

The 31-year-old midfielder, formerly of DC Power United, was officially unveiled on Wednesday, November 5, just a week after helping the Black Queens qualify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

“Brooklyn is building something truly new and ambitious in American soccer, and I’m excited to be part of it,” said Cudjoe.

the former Gotham FC midfield sensation is expected to make her first appearance for Brooklyn FC on November 8, when the club hosts DC Power FC at Maimonides Park — pending league and federation approval.

“Jennifer is an experienced player and a true leader… Her composure and passion will make a huge impact,” said Brooklyn sporting director Kevin Tenjo.

International Pedigree

Cudjoe played a key role in Ghana’s bronze medal finish at the 2024 WAFCON, helping the Queens beat South Africa on penalties. She also contributed two assists in the 7–0 aggregate win over Egypt that secured Ghana’s spot at the 2026 tournament.
