27th November 2024
Liverpool FC have rekindled their pursuit of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, aiming to secure his signature in the next summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old, currently with West Ham United, is reportedly open to leaving the Hammers despite having three years remaining on his contract.
Several top clubs have expressed interest in the dynamic playmaker, with Liverpool emerging as serious contenders.
Although Kudus has had a challenging start to the current campaign, including a five-game suspension following a red card against Tottenham Hotspur, he has managed to score two goals in eight appearances.
The Ghanaian is determined to elevate his form as the season unfolds.
Liverpool, anticipating departures of key players at the end of the season, have initiated negotiations for Kudus.
However, West Ham are standing firm on their €85 million asking price, confident that the player will regain his top form soon.
Kudus made a significant impact in his debut season in England, scoring 14 goals and delivering six assists across all competitions.
His performances have solidified his reputation as one of Europe’s most promising talents, making him a prime target for the Reds.
