NPP Loyal Ladies donates to members in Northern sector
18th May 2021
As part of efforts in appreciating their members across the country for their various roles played in ensuring an NPP victory in the 2020 general elections, the Loyal Ladies group has donated hair dryers to its hardworking members across the 5 Northern Regions.
The Loyal Ladies, a volunteer group of energetic and dynamic young women within the NPP, have notably been credited with contributing immensely to the return of the New Patriotic Party (N.P.P.) to power in 2016 and the retention of H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as President of Ghana in the 2020 polls.
The Vice President of Loyal Ladies, Suzzane Amo, who presented the items on behalf of the group to members from North East, Savanna, Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions, expressed their immense gratitude to the members for their hardwork, and was firmly convinced that the Loyal Ladies group is well-positioned to equip women to contribute their quota, not only to politics but also to the development agenda of Ghana.
This event took place on Saturday 15th May 2021, with notable dignitaries from the NPP in attendance including Alhaji Sunday, 1st vice chairman of the Northern Region, Haruna Yussif Tamale North constituency chairman, Alhassan shahadu 2nd vice Tamale North, Iddrisu Abdallah Secretary Tamale North, Abdulai Abdul Nasir Youth Organizer Tamale North, and Aside Eliasu, Research officer Tamale North.
Similar gestures of appreciation by the Loyal Ladies group, and equipping their members in contributing to their communities, have taken place in other regions, and the group looks forward to playing a critical role in women activism.
