NPP Primaries: Kennedy Agyapong wrongly accuses Bawumia and launches unprovoked insults on him

NPP Flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, has launched an unprovoked insults against former Vice President President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Interestingly, the very comment which Kennedy Agyapong responded to, for which he launched his blistering attacks on the person of the former Vice President, was not made by Dr. Bawumia, but rather, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi.

Addressing NPP delegates in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Wontumi said the NPP had always retained its first-time presidential candidates, with the exception of Professor Adu Boahen, whom he said was not retained by delegates because of poor health - a claim which has been cited in some publications by close associates of the late Professor.

However, Kennedy Agyapong rather accused Dr. Bawumia of making the claim and launched attacks on the former Vice President, calling him a liar, among other umprintable words.

"I have never seen a liar like our former flagbearer before. This man is a liar for saying that Adu Boahen did not contest because he was sick," Kennedy Agyapong said, as he wrongly attributed Chairman Wontumi's statement to him.

Meanwhile Kennedy Agyapong's attacks of Bawumia has attracted criticism on social media, with many expressing surprise how could wrongly attribute something the former Vice President did not say to him and proceed to launch unprovoked attacks against him.
