Red-hot Brandon Thomas-Asante scores again in Coventry's 3-1 victory over Sheffield United

Brandon Thomas-Asante continued his red-hot form in the English Championship, netting his 10th league goal of the season to seal Coventry City’s 3–1 win over Sheffield United at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

The Black Stars forward struck  deep into injury time, converting a Haji Wright assist to restore Coventry’s momentum after their first defeat of the season against Wrexham.

Thomas-Asante has now scored five goals in his last five games, making him Ghana’s most prolific scorer in Europe this season.

At the national front, Thomas-Asante was involved in the Black Stars' 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification as he featured also in the final qualifying fixture against Comoros where the team won by a lone goal in Accra to seal an emphatic 25-point berth for the global showpiece.

He is set to be a pivotal figure when the Black Stars participate in the Kirin Cup in their Asian Tour later this month as he is expected to bring in his immense goal scoring form ahead of the Tour.
