Seidu Abubakari's late goal earns Samartex narrow win over Legon Cities

Seidu Abubakari's late strike secured a 1-0 victory for Samartex over Legon Cities in the matchday 10 fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The win propelled Samartex into third place on the league table with 17 points, just three points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
Meanwhile, Legon Cities' struggles continued as they dropped to 18th place, remaining in the relegation zone following their sixth defeat of the season.
The match saw an early chance for Samartex when Mamah's header rattled the goalpost.
Despite five attempts from Legon Cities in the first half, none were on target, as the Timber Giants comfortably managed the game.
In the 73rd minute, Akwesi Sarpong had a good opportunity to extend Samartex's lead but his shot went wide.
Legon Cities mounted late pressure but could not find the equalizer, allowing Samartex to hold on for a crucial win at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
