Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe is drawing significant attention from top European clubs following a standout season with Swedish side IF Elfsborg.

The 23-year-old has become a hot prospect, with Premier League clubs Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, and Fulham, as well as Bundesliga sides Freiburg and Union Berlin, reportedly keen on securing his services.

Yegbe, who made the move to Elfsborg from Finnish club SJK Seinäjoki earlier this year, signed a long-term contract that runs until 2028.

Since arriving, he has wasted no time making his mark, netting three goals and providing an assist in 22 Allsvenskan appearances.

His strong performances also extended to European competition, with Yegbe featuring in 12 Europa League matches, including qualifiers, and one cup game.

Elfsborg is said to be valuing Yegbe at around €5 million, with the player’s marketability further bolstered by his recent call-up to the Ghana national team for upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

As interest grows, Yegbe's future looks increasingly likely to lie away from Sweden, with clubs across Europe eager to sign the promising defender.
