VIDEO: Siamese twins successfully separated at Korle Bu survive to make history

It was news in 1999 when Linda and Lydia were born conjoined at the Atua Government Hospital in Odumase-Krobo in the Eastern Region but were successfully separated at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.  

The Siamese twins are among the lucky few in  the statistics of such kind to have survived a separation and lived beyond a year.

Almost two decades down the line, TV3’s Sarah Parku traced the twins and reports that Linda and Lydia are now in SHS 3 at the Akwamuman Senior High School in Atimpoku.
