The UAE Embassy in Accra celebrated the UAE's 53rd National Day on December 2nd at the Kempinski Gold City Hotel.

The event, led by Chargé d’Affaires Dr. Badreyya AlShehhi, highlighted the UAE’s achievements and its strong ties with Ghana.

Attendees included prominent figures such as Ghana’s Minister of Energy, Hon. Herbert Krapa, and the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Elizabeth Kwatso Sackey. Dr. AlShehhi emphasized the importance of UAE-Ghana relations, particularly in trade, education, and renewable energy, noting a trade value of US$3.91 billion in 2023.

Hon. Krapa expressed gratitude for the UAE’s support, including a US$30 million grant for climate solutions and recognition of Ghana's education initiatives at the World Government Summit.
