Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hearts of Oak, Frederick Moore who also doubles as a member of the adhoc compensation committee says the football fraternity should vote out the Executive Council if they fail to perform with the emoluments and allowances that is being offered them.

Fred Moore was part of the three member adhoc compensation committee who proposed salaries and emoluments of members of the Executive Council before it was approved by Congress on Tuesday.

Since approving GHC12,000 as monthly allowance for the GFA President and GHC 7,000 for his Vice President among other benefits, it has ignited a serious debate about the FA hierarchy bleeding dry the association with their benefits and compensation.

Frederick Moore who chaired the adhoc compensation committee has justified the amounts but says that they should be ousted if they fail to give value for money.

“Any job that you do, any role that you play, you’re not paid based on your certificate or based on the fact that you are there, but for the role that you’re playing, and that role, for the salary you get, it has to come with accountability.

“We want the ExCo to work for us to get selflessness. If you’re going to work to get selflessness and I say I am not going to reward you [you must be ready to pay for it]; you can’t have it both ways”, Frederick Moore said in an interview as quoted on myjoyonline.com.

“We need an ExCo in Ghana, we need a football association in Ghana, that can take Ghana to the next level and if they are rewarded and they don’t take Ghana to the next level, then it is incumbent on the rest of us to vote them out”he added.
