Wake up! Togbega Fiti tells CPP
1st October 2018
The National Chairman and Leader of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Prof. Edmund N. Delle, on Sunday, 30 September 2018 paid a courtesy call on Togbega Fiti, the overload of the Aflao Traditional Area.
He was in the company of a delegation made up of party leaders from both Accra and Volta regions.
They include Hajia Hamdatu Haruna Ibrahim (First Vice Chairperson), Mr Boadu (Greater Accra Regional Chairman), Mr Azure (a founding member of the CPP), Akosua Asamoah (a Central Committee Member) and his special aide Selasi Koffi Ackom. From the Volta regional was the Regional Chairman (Mr Thomas Ntumy), Regional Organiser (Mr Paul), Mr Chris Vigah (Former regional chairman and a member of the council of elders), Chairman of the Re-organisation Committee (Mr Ahiadzro) amongst other key executives.
Togbega Fiti advised the CPP to wake up and start campaigning early because Ghanaians were fed up with the political duopoly in the country and that Ghana was ready for another round of a CPP government.
“Any further waste of time will be at the CPP's own peril,” he stated.
Togbe Fiti further stressed that Ghana was still enjoying the developments of the CPP and pledged his support towards the cause of seeing the CPP back in power.
Prof. Delle thanked the Aflao Overlord for his reception and assured Togbe Fiti of the CPP’s commitment to regain power to rescue the country.
“The CPP's achievements are unmatched,” Prof Delle asserted, adding that “The CPP is saddened by the turn of events in the country and is poised to wrestle power and restore the dignity it once brought to the country”.
The CPP is embarking on a nationwide registration of its members.
