Newly appointed assistant coach of WA All Stars David Ocloo is poised and ready for the challenges of coaching the Ghana Premier League outfit.

The 43 year old was appointed by the club with the recommendation from Head Coach Alhaji Abubakari Sokpari Mumuni.

Ocloo said he is grateful to Alhaji Abubakar for giving him the chance to help and learn from him.

”as a coach you need to be open-minded, so when the opportunity presented itself to work alongside Abubakar I was happy to take it”

Speaking to Kumasi-based ASHH FM, the Former Maranatha trainer admitted although he has been coaching for years, he is relatively unknown in Ghana and he hopes to make a name for himself in the upcoming season.

”I am unknown in Ghana at the highest level, so this is a big challenge for me to prove myself”

He is currently with the team on pre-season in Accra.
