As the Futsal African Cup of Nations Tournament approaches its commencement in Morocco on April 11th, 2024, Ghana's Futsal National Team head coach, Philip Boakye, is brimming with optimism about his team's prospects.

Ghana's journey begins with a clash against Zambia in the opening fixture, followed by encounters against host nation Morocco and Angola in Group A.

Ahead of the tournament, the team demonstrated their mettle with a 5-4 victory over Raja Casablanca in a pre-tournament friendly, setting a positive tone for their campaign.

Currently encamped in Rabat, where the tournament will unfold, Coach Philip Boakye expressed his confidence in the team's readiness and determination to make history for Ghana.

"We have enjoyed excellent preparations and unwavering support from the FA, particularly the president. We are fully confident in our abilities, and we aim to not only triumph in this tournament but also secure qualification for the World Cup," Coach Boakye affirmed.
