Togbe Afede XIV, the Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, has unveiled the significant progress made in the construction of the club’s new secretariat, signaling its nearing completion.

Addressing attendees at the club’s 6th Annual General Meeting held in Accra, Togbe Afede underscored the importance of the upcoming facility.

"The club’s old secretariat, known as "Phobia House," was dismantled in May 2022 to pave the way for the construction of a modern headquarters building."

"As of the time of this report, this structure is approximately 95% complete, with an investment of about GHC9 million thus far. A portion of this state-of-the-art building will be leased out to contribute to revenue generation," he revealed.

Togbe Afede stressed the versatile nature of the new secretariat and its potential to fulfill various functions once finalized.

Despite ongoing developments off the field, Hearts of Oak currently holds the 9th position in the Ghana Premier League.
