Los Angeles FC striker Latif Blessing has been left frustrated by the lack of call-ups to the senior national team, Black Stars and warns he will welcome the idea of representing the YANKS.

The 20 year old forward recently obtained a U.S. green card making him eligible to represent the CONCACAF nation.

The Former Liberty Proffesionals hitman feels he has done all he can to merit a place in Kwesi Appiah’s team but keeps getting snubbed hence playing for Ghana is no longer a target for him.

"To play for Ghana is not my target at the moment because I have done whatever any player would have to do to be rewarded with a call-up but I have not received any good signs from the coach," Blessing told Happy FM.

"Currently, I'm focusing on my performance at my new club but I'm also ready to switch nationality and play for USA. When they make an attempt to hand me the opportunity to represent them in the future, I will accept it with both hands," he added.

Blessing had an impressive debut season in Major League Soccer with Sporting Kanasas last season, scoring six goals and two assists in 31 matches across all competitions.

He also scored three times in Sporting KC's run to the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup title, including the go-ahead goal in a 2-1 championship victory over the New York Red Bulls on Sept. 20.
