Asante Kotoko Physical Trainer, Derrick Nana Osei Owusu believes he has identified the aspect of the team’s game that needs to improve ahead of the forthcoming Ghana Premier League season.

Osei Owusu noted that Kotoko players particularly lacked strength and conditioning but lauded their attitude towards work and hopes they can achieve great strides soon.

“After meeting with Management, I insisted on meeting the playing body so I went to Adako Jachie to see how training was going on. What was going wrong, concerning their physique, I discussed with the coach. The boys need a lot of strength and conditioning” he said in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com.

“One good thing is that there’s no lazy player but there are few weaknesses that we need to work on. I’ve now realized their strength is maximizing and their breathing too is having a great improvement” added the Physical Trainer.

The Porcupine Warriors will open their League campaign away to WAFA on Saturday.
