Thomas Partey gave Arsenal the lead in their 2-0 win in thr English Premier League clash against Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.

The Ghanaian midfielder headed home only his second goal for Arsenal in the Premier League in the 11th minute from a well taken corner kick at the near post.

Arsenal dominated the opening exchanges of the game and Gabriel Martinelli had some fine opportunities blocked whiles Bukayo Saka has been busy on the right side.

Partey could have added a second goal but he hit the upright with a rasping long range shot.

Leicester City could have pulled parity as a Harvey Barnes shot was clawed to safety by goalkeeper Aron Ramsdale.

The Ghanaian could have easily scored a second goal as his goal bound header touched Leicester City's Soyuncu which resulted in a penalty which was converted by Alexander Lacazette to make it 2-0.

Thomas Partey Scored a goal, completed 83% of his pass attempts, made the most tackles in the game, won 100% of his ground duels.

He also had 100% aerial duels won, 100% ground duels won, 60 touches , 4 tackles won,  2 interceptions, 0x dribbled past.

Speaking after the match the Ghanaian was excited and says he could have scored more but is happy for the team.
