News circulating on various media outfits indicates former President John Dramani Mahama has finally settled on Mr. Alex Mould as his running mate ahead of the 2020 general elections.

The reports say the former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Alex Mould's name came up for the appointment at a very close meeting on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, and will officially be announced later.

It would be recalled that in August this year (two months ago), Mr. Mould indicated he was ever ready to partner ex-President Mahama as his running mate if that offer is made to him to wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2020 elections.

He bragged at the time that, he had all the qualities to make a good Vice President and will put up a sterling performance when in office just as he did in his previous positions as CEO for two key state institutions (GNPC and NPA).

Several other names in the have come up as to who partners the Mr. Mahama come 2020 elections. One of such notable personalities in the umbrella family is the MP for Klottey-Korley Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings. She is also the eldest daughter of the founder of NDC, Jerry John Rawlings.
