Ahead of the December 7th general elections, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ayensuano in the Eastern Region, has inaugurated its campaign team.

The team aims to recapture the seat which was snatched in the 2020 general election by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The team is made up of various committees such as the Advisory, Fundraising and Finance, Operations, Communications, Research and Elections, among others.

The event which was held at Asuboi was attended by dignitaries including parliamentary candidate, Ida Adjoa Aseidu, party executives, party faithful, supporters, council of elders and patrons.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony on behalf of the campaign team, Mr. Kumi Karbi, charged the party faithful to put behind them any impasse resulting from the recent primaries and join hands to work in unity.

He cautioned party supporters, emphasizing that breaking the 8 is not an easy task.

Addressing the gathering, the parliamentary candidate for the area, Ida Adjoa Aseidu urged all NPP supporters to be involved in the campaign. She encouraged  them to put in their best efforts towards the party's strides in maintaining power in the upcoming 2024 election.
