38 year old Doris Dzifa met her untimely death on Thursday 12th August,2021 at Krobom-Obretema near Suhum on the Accra-Kumasi highway as he body was cut into two different halves.

The above mentioned lady died after she was crushed to death by a Honda accord private saloon car with trade plate number DV 2115C-2021 with three persons on board from Accra towards Kumasi.

The vehicle was being driven by 36 year old Michael Kotei who crushed into the deceased who was standing by the shoulders of the road awaiting a commercial vehicle home.

On reaching a section of the road at Krobom-Obretema near Suhum on the Accra-Kumasi highway, the driver is said  to have lost control of the steering wheel and veered off the road and knocked down the female pedestrian Doris Dzifa who was standing at the road side.

The vehicle finally landed in a nearby bush with the four occupants sustaining varying degrees of minor injuries.

The victim died on the spot as her body was split into two pieces from her waist level detached from her upper body.

Suspect driver together with other occupants sustained injuries and were rushed to Suhum Government Hospital for treatment .

The body of the deceased has been deposited at same hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

Meanwhile the accident vehicle has been  impounded at the Suhum Police station for testing.

The deceased a married woman is survived by a husband and four children the last who are twins.
