Seven players from the two junior female national teams who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have all recovered after weeks of isolation and treatment and have now rejoined their colleagues in camp.

This is after all seven players of the Black Maidens and Black Princesses turned negative after two tests.

All the seven players were isolated for 14 days after they turned positive after mandatory tests by the medical team.

They have since rejoined their team mates as they step up preparations for various international assignments.

The Black Princesses are preparing to play Guinea Bissau in a 2021 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier, while the Black Maidens who thrashed Liberia 10-0 in a two-legged World Cup qualifier in March have a date against rivals Nigeria in October, 2020.
