Multiple dead at Nkawanda No.2 on Accra–Kumasi highway crash

Several people are feared dead following a deadly collision between a sprinter passenger bus and a tipper truck at Nkawanda No. 2 on the Accra–Kumasi highway.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing multiple victims, including women, lying motionless on the road, while debris from both vehicles was scattered across the scene.

Although the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, some regular travellers on the route blame the worsening potholes that have affected the highway in recent months.

They say the poor condition of the road has been a major factor in the increasing number of accidents in the area.
