Zanetor Rawlings to Enjoy Full Ministerial Perks Across Africa as Pan-African Parliament Vice President — Bagbin

Ghana has secured a significant continental honour, and the privileges that come with it are considerable.
Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin has revealed that Dr. Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings, following her election as Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament, is set to enjoy a comprehensive package of benefits and privileges that will extend across every member state on the continent.
According to the Speaker, Dr. Agyemang-Rawlings will be accorded ministerial status in all African countries, meaning she will be received and treated at the level of a government minister wherever she travels across the continent in her official capacity.
The package, as outlined by Bagbin, also includes an official vehicle, VIP protection, state protocol services, financial support, a dedicated official office and a full complement of support staff — provisions that reflect the weight and significance of the position she now occupies.
The appointment places Dr. Agyemang-Rawlings — daughter of former Ghanaian President Jerry John Rawlings — among the most prominent Ghanaian figures on the continental political stage, and represents a major milestone for Ghana’s standing within Pan-African institutions.
Speaker Bagbin’s disclosure has drawn widespread attention, with many Ghanaians expressing pride in the recognition and the platform it affords one of the country’s rising political figures on an African and global stage.
