A 28-year-old Ghanaian employee with a Chinese Company, Emmanuel Tamakloe, has reportedly been rendered ‘impotent ‘after he was said to have been assaulted by his supervisor, a Taiwanese, Mr Wiah.

Tamakloe who works with Hsieh’s Plastic Recycling Company Limited based in Kumasi, was hit in the abdomen with a heavy object by Mr Wiah .

The victim through his lawyers, following the incident, has filed a suit at the Kumasi High Court claiming damages to the tune of GHC 100, 000.

According to the victim his supervisor first hit him with a plastic bucket popularly known as “adom ara kwa” causing it to break into pieces into pieces.

As if the act was not enough he went further and hit hard the victim’s abdomen with another plastic resulting in severe pain in his testicles and penis at the full glare of other workers.

Mr Tamakloe said on October 9, 2018, he reported to work, at about 11:30 am.

One of the engineers of the company called Peter instructed him to attend to some machines while three other colleagues changed one of the models of a plastic chair making machine.

He continued that, whilst he was busily attending to one of the machines as instructed, Mr. Wiah his Taiwanese boss stormed the workshop angrily.

“Mr. Wiah called me and asked me why I have allowed one of the employers to put out some pins used in the production process in a bowl instead of the case designed for them”. Mr. Tamakloe narrated.

The victim's reply did not go well with Mr. Wiah who hit him (Tamakloe) with a plastic bucket that broke into pieces.

After the incident howbever, Mr Tamakloe is demanding that the court award him GHC 100, 000 in damages including emotional, physical and financial stress he has gone through as a result.

This is not the first time a foreign company or employer is maltreating a Ghanaian.

It would be recalled that in September 2018, some Chinese employers stabbed a Ghanaian man who worked with them at a plastic manufacturing company at Atonsu Fobi in Kumasi.
