Ace broadcaster and TV personality, Nana Aba Anamoah has lashed out at Ghanaians who think that genuinely one cannot make it in Ghana.

This comes against the backdrop of Jackie Appiah recently showing her plus mansion on social media.

Many people have called the actress names with some claiming that she has been warming the bed of top politicians and business moguls that is why she was able to build such a mansion.

It is not the first time that people's wealth in Ghana has been questioned as times without number many people who claim to have made it in Ghana and flaunt their wealth are stereotyped.

According to Nana Aba, if a man makes it in Ghana the naysayers attribute in to 'Sakawa' or drugs whiles women who are able to break the barriers of poverty and live good lives are branded as 'Ashawo'(prostitutes).

She admonished persons who attributed success in Ghana to illicit trade and businesses to sit up an strive to make it in Ghana too instead of the name calling.

"When you make it as a man in this country, they attribute it to sakawa or drugs. You make it as a woman, you’re ashawo. People who do this are permanently stuck in a snakepit. Wake up from the folly and attempt to make your life better too. God be with us all." she tweeted
