A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Benjamin Kumbuor who is calling for current crop of the leadership party to accounts for the votes the party garnered in the just-ended presidential polls has been absenting himself from the party’s activities recently.

“If he had attended our meetings, he could easily know how the party is putting structures together to go and accounts to the people. If he was there in our last meeting we could have all jaw-jaw to see the way forward than you granting media interview”, the party’s National Organizer, Joshua Hamidu Akamba said.

Dr. Benjamin Kumbour, one of the founding fathers of NDC in a an interview with the press took a swipe at the 2020 flagbearer of the party and a former President John Dramani Mahama for the party’s defeat in the last year December 7 polls calling them to explain why they lost.

Reacting to Dr. Kumbuor’s opinion on Kumasi-based Hello FM morning show monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the NDC National Organizer completely disagrees with the senior member of the party and other cadres thinking alike.

“If you have problem, it not media you have to run to. He knows where to get the answers…the answers are not in the public domain, the answers is where himself is a leader”, Joshua Akamba told host, King Edward.

“The party works with structures. You don’t have to come out and start talking where you have not asked permission from the party. You need to meet elders of the party, the NEC of the party for permission first before you take a decision”, NDC National Organizer, Joshua Akamba fumed.
