AC Milan are looking at beefing up their forward lines with a long mooted transfer of  Angel Correa yet to happen due to Athletico Madrid's hefty asking price of 45 million euros for the player which has deterred Milan from making the move.

The Rossoneri's are  casting their nets wider with Dutch born Ghanaian Memphis Depay firmly in their sites as a potential player to beef up a struggling Milan front line.

The  25 year old Lyon star will set Milan back around € 40 million, with the club hopeful this can be achieved through bonus schemes.

Memphis Depay had a good season for Olympique Lyon last year. He has been with  Lyon since 2017 and has now scored 46 goals in 119 matches .

The winger is a youth product of PSV in the Netherlands with which he guided them to their first league title since 2008 by emerging top scorer and winning the 2014–15 league title scoring 22 goals in the process.

He joined Manchester United from  PSV  in 2015 but had a nightmare career at the red devils before making the switch to Olympique Lyon for 16 million euros in January 2017.
