Ghana giants Accra Hearts of Oak turned 108 years today and to mark the anniversary commemoration the phobians have line up certain activities to mark the day.

The activities for the celebration of the grand day will begin at the clubs secretariat with the first team squad too lining up a friendly game with a yet to be announced club.

It will be climaxed with the cutting of the sod for construction works to begin at the team's Pobiman training complex.

The project will see the team build camping and training facilities, gymnasium, artificial and grass pitches at the Pobiman training base.

Hearts of Oak have won the Ghana league title 20 times, have won the FA cup a record 10 times while winning the coveted Caf Champions league once.

The Phobians were the first team to win the Confederations Cup beating bitter rivals Asante Kotoko to it although the last time they won the league title was in 2009.
