Songne Yacouba ended his two year stay with Kumasi Asante Kotoko after deciding against renewing his contract which expired somewhere in April this year.

He has since then signed for Tanzanian side Young Africans (YANGA SC) but the striker who did not get a proper chance to bid his goodbyes to the fans of Kotoko has written a letter to the fans, management and some persons who made his stay worthwhile in Kumasi.

The Burkinabe import joined the porcupine warriors two years ago with the Kumasi based club keen to extend his stay but the player decided against an extension.

He added that it was a real pleasure and honour to have worn the famous red jersey and wished the club well for the future.
