Aduana Stars  have distanced themselves from disparaging comments made by their head coach, W.O Tandoh against AsanteKotoko SC and Maxwell Konadu.

Last night the Aduana Stars trainer made despicable remarks about Asante Kotoko and their coach Maxwell Konadu branding the former national team coach a village coach and a disgrace to football in an interview granted to Accra based Angel  Fm.

In an interview with Nhyira Fm the Club’s Public Relations Officer Evans Oppong says the club condemns the conduct of the coach and they distance themselves from his comments.

He further adds that the club will hold a meeting with Asante Kotoko after which they will issue a statement.

“We will call Kotoko and apologize. A release will be issued after our meeting. His comment is beyond football. Football is not tribalism” Evans Oppong added.
