Aduana Stars find themselves within striking distance of the Premier League summit, with ten points separating them from the top spot currently held by title contenders Samartex.

To ascend to the pinnacle, Aduana must secure victories in four of their remaining six fixtures this season.

Despite their favorable position and being considered favorites to clinch their second successive top-flight title, enterprising winger Emmanuel Gyamfi insists that they are not taking anything for granted.

“I can’t determine the winner now, we are all chasing for the title. My club, Aduana, are also trying our best so that at the very end of the league, we can clinch the ultimate,” Gyamfi told Ghanasportspage.com.

“Sure, we can win the title. When we start the season, every club has its ambition to win the title or be in a respectable place on the log but our aim is to win the title and it’s not over until the last day, we will try our maximum best to lift the ultimate at the end.”

Gyamfi emphasized the competitive nature of the title race and affirmed Aduana's commitment to giving their best until the last match.

Ahead of their match-week 29 fixture against Accra Lions, Aduana approaches the encounter on the back of four wins in their last ten league matches, including a recent 1-0 victory over cellar-dwelling Heart of Lions on matchday 26.

A triumph against the capital side on Monday, May 6, would significantly bolster Aduana's position and bring them closer to the summit.

Gyamfi expressed confidence in his team's ability to contend for the title, acknowledging that every club begins the season with aspirations of winning or achieving a respectable position in the league standings.

Despite the challenges, Aduana remains focused on their objective, with Gyamfi affirming their determination to pursue the ultimate prize until the final day of the season.
