Aduana Stars have been dealt a huge blow as their star striker Yahaya Mohammed has been ruled out of action  for about four weeks.

The 32 year old striker sustained an injury in his sides 1-1 drawn game played against King Faisal at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman in November last year.

Yahaya Mohammed opened the scores for the Ogya boys before King Faisal pulled parity later in the game.

He suffered a fracture to his left collarbone and required lengthy time to undergo rehabilitation and physiotherapy before returning to action but he was rushed back into action.

The player played through the pain barrier with the injury but it has now flared up and he will need about four weeks as he undergoes herbal treatment.

He was granted a sick leave by his side in April as he underwent treatment but will require at least four more weeks to fully recuperate.

“I didn’t do the operation. If I had done the surgery it would have been the second time. I’m old and it will reduce my strength so I was given herbs to cure it, ‘your know Muslims and how they do their things’.

“I was told there has been improvement after my second x-ray but if I injure it again while it has not been healed, then it will be like this forever. Therefore I have to wait four weeks for it to heal properly.” He said in an interview with Gye Nyame FM.
