The Black Stars of Ghana will this evening face the panthers of Gabon in a must win encounter in the ongoing African Cup of Nations game.

Joojo Wollacot is likely to maintain his place in post so as the back four with Daniel Amartey playing alongside Alexander Djiku whiles Baba Rahman plays alongside his Reading teammate Andy Yiadom at both full back positions.

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is likely to partner Iddrisu Baba in the heart of midfield in what looks like a double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The three who are likely to play behind the lone front man are Daniel Kofi Kyere, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamaldeen Sulemana with Andre Ayew likely to play as a false nine.

Ghana lost its opening game against Morocco by 1-0 and must beat Gabon if they want to progress out of the group stage.

The Panthers defeated Comoros in their opening game and have been boosted by the return of captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang who had COVID-19 in the opening game.

The game will start at 7pm local Ghana time.
