Jean-Marc Janaillac was happy the first flight which took off from Accra had the economy class filled and the cargo section also filled mainly with pineapple.

He was happy the direct flight to Paris will increase the import of fresh products to Paris as well as other European countries.

He said the role tourists will play in this new route opening cannot be overemphasised since many tourists from France can now enjoy a direct flight to Ghana via Air France.

This new offer which is the first in 50 years will be expanded to some other African countries as well.

This is to help reduce travel time for potential clients in the two countries who would normally transit at the Amsterdam airport before boarding another flight to Paris.
