The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Akuapem North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei has donated 30 bags of cement towards the construction of a community centre in Budu community.

Donating the items on behalf of the MP, the NPP constituency chairman,  Mr Frank Appiah, said the gesture was part of the MP's initiatives towards the development of the communities within the Akuapem North Constituency.

“On behalf of the Member of Parliament and as part of H.E Nana Akufo-Addo's government agenda to expand transformational development across every corner of the country, we are very pleased to donate 30 bags of cement for the execution of the community centre project. I’m sure it will help the good people of Budu build more resilient community stakeholder engagements. We also encourage the contractor to complete this project earnestly for the benefit of the community", said Frank Appiah.

In appreciation, the Secretary for the Projects Committee at Budu, promised they will put the donation to good use.
